How Much Does It Cost to Start a Candle Business?
Starting a candle business can be approachable, but the real cost depends on how professional you want the first product line to feel.
At minimum, candle makers usually need wax, fragrance oils, wicks, vessels, labels, warning labels, a pouring pitcher, thermometer, scale, heat source, testing supplies, packaging materials, and basic photography or presentation assets.
The biggest mistake is only budgeting for ingredients. A real launch also needs testing, packaging, brand presentation, shipping materials, website tools, and enough margin to reorder without starting over financially.
